Whether you bring a friend or make new ones while you’re here, Schoolhaus puts the FUN in cooking fundamentals. So, tie your hair back, slip into some comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes and prepare to jump in!
We provide all the ingredients and supplies you’ll need, including an apron, which you are welcome and encouraged to stain all to hell. Best of all, the homework is delicious!
BRAND NEW SERIES! Travel through time with your taste buds! Each of these three classes will dive into a specific time period, highlighting popular dishes, ingredients, and cooking techniques of the era.
Class 1: 1920s/30s: pineapple upside down cake, chicken a-la-king, Waldorf salad, rice pudding, scalloped potatoes, southern fried cabbage
Class 2: 1940s/50s – brown sugar meatloaf, corn fritters, green bean casserole, fried cornmeal mush, Salisbury steak, banana cream pie
Class 3: 1960s/70s – funnel cake, chicken kiev, lemon chiffon cake, ambrosia fruit salad, scotch eggs, crepes suzette, apricot chicken
For ages 8 – 14
This is a THREE Thursdays class and runs from 5 – 8 pm on October 3rd, 10th, 17th
Taxes will be added to class price.
Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another class. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person. No exceptions, please.
With the occasional exception, classes are approximately three hours and $75 + GST. Though refunds are not available, feel free to have some lucky soul 19+ to attend in your place.
