Whether you bring a friend or make new ones while you’re here, Schoolhaus puts the FUN in cooking fundamentals. So, tie your hair back, slip into some comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes and prepare to jump in!
We provide all the ingredients and supplies you’ll need, including an apron, which you are welcome and encouraged to stain all to hell. Best of all, the homework is delicious!
Every Sunday in November is “Cook the Book” day! The instructor for each of these classes will pick one of his or her favourite cookbooks and we’ll be making five recipes from it.
To register for all 5, check out Kim’s first pick:

Kim says, “My next pick is Dinner Chez Moi: The Fine Art of Feeding Friends by Laura Calder. This book combines some of my favourite wintery recipes both sweet and savoury. I love this book because Laura Calder was one of the first cooks that I really liked to watch on tv. I like her relaxed take on French food which really comes through in her recipes. They are written as if a friend has jotted them down for you while visiting over coffee. The recipes are so comfortable and accessible that it becomes more about the joy and pleasure of cooking and sharing it with friends and family.”
* Wine and beer available for purchase.
GST will be added to class price.
