Whether you bring a friend or make new ones while you’re here, Schoolhaus puts the FUN in cooking fundamentals. So, tie your hair back, slip into some comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes and prepare to jump in!
We provide all the ingredients and supplies you’ll need, including an apron, which you are welcome and encouraged to stain all to hell. Best of all, the homework is delicious!

Let’s discover some true soulful, rustic Acadian dishes! Take a trip down to the bayou with us and learn how to make the classics like Gumbo Ya-Ya and Crawfish Etouffee. Not only will you be tasting some great food, but you’ll also learn Roux basics that make up the cuisine. “What else?” you may ask? Bananas Foster Bread Pudding for dessert, and we didn’t forget about the biscuits either 😉
Dishes include: Cajun Essence, Roux, Shrimp remoulade, Gumbo ya-ya, Shrimp etoufee, Biscuits with lemon-herb butter, banana foster bread pudding

Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another class. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person, 19+. No exceptions, please.
With the occasional exception, classes are approximately three hours and $75 + GST. Though refunds are not available, feel free to have some lucky soul 19+ to attend in your place.
