Whether you bring a friend or make new ones while you’re here, Schoolhaus puts the FUN in cooking fundamentals. So, tie your hair back, slip into some comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes and prepare to jump in!
We provide all the ingredients and supplies you’ll need, including an apron, which you are welcome and encouraged to stain all to hell. Best of all, the homework is delicious!

Haus Guest Virtual Cookalong Club with Aimee: The Sauce Lab! (lesson 1 of 2)
Welcome to The Sauce Lab – where good cooks become great cooks! In this hands-on virtual class over two consecutive Sundays, we dive into the foundations of restaurant-level sauces and how to use them to build an incredible meal at home.
Some dishes we’ll be making are: Seared Steak Bites with Quick Demi-Glaze, Crispy Potatoes with Garlic Aioli, Salted Caramel Dessert Sauce, Honey-Soy Ginger Glazed Salmon, Ginger Scallion Noodles, Berry Coulis – and much more!
Class dates and times: Sunday, April 26th and Sunday, May 3rd, 4:00 – 5:30 pm
So how does this work?
Within one week of each class, our team will send you the recipes, shopping list, and Zoom link so you’ll have everything you need to whip up a chef-worthy meal in your own kitchen. Cook along with us in real time, ask questions, and learn some cool new things!
Price is per household connection. Taxes added at checkout.
Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another class. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person. No exceptions, please.
Class Information
With the occasional exception, classes are approximately three hours and $75 + GST. Though refunds are not available, feel free to have some lucky soul 19+ to attend in your place.
