Whether you bring a friend or make new ones while you’re here, Schoolhaus puts the FUN in cooking fundamentals. So, tie your hair back, slip into some comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes and prepare to jump in!
We provide all the ingredients and supplies you’ll need, including an apron, which you are welcome and encouraged to stain all to hell. Best of all, the homework is delicious!

Chinese New Year Feast! (SOLD OUT!)
“Gong Hay Fat Choy!” Ring in the Lunar New Year with an abundant, celebratory multi-course feast steeped in tradition, symbolism, and bold Cantonese flavours!
In this special-event class, we’ll prepare a spectacular spread of dishes traditionally served to welcome prosperity, longevity, harmony, and good fortune for the year ahead. Along the way, you’ll learn the why behind the food – what each dish symbolizes and how it’s meant to be prepared and shared. What we’ll cook together: Poached Whole Chicken with Green Onion & Ginger Sauce, Steamed Whole Fish with Ginger, Scallions & Soy, Cantonese Salt & Pepper Shrimp, Longevity Yee Mein (E-Fu) Noodles, Hand-Wrapped Pork Pot Stickers, and Classic Egg Custard Tarts.

Wine, beer, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase during class.

Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another class. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person, 19+. No exceptions, please.
Class Information
With the occasional exception, classes are approximately three hours and $75 + GST. Though refunds are not available, feel free to have some lucky soul 19+ to attend in your place.
