Whether you bring a friend or make new ones while you’re here, Schoolhaus puts the FUN in cooking fundamentals. So, tie your hair back, slip into some comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes and prepare to jump in!
We provide all the ingredients and supplies you’ll need, including an apron, which you are welcome and encouraged to stain all to hell. Best of all, the homework is delicious!
Looking for a way to work on your kitchen skills? Join Schoolhaus for this weekly, virtual class, right in your own kitchen. Cover brand new topics and skills each week and finish with tons of knowledge plus a hot and ready meal to enjoy with your family!
Week 1: Knife Skills – vegetable salad, stuffed chicken breast, maple souffle
Week 2: Chicken – taking apart a whole chicken, stuffed chicken thighs, rice pilaf, roasted brussels sprouts, molten lava cakes
Week 3: Soups and Stocks – chicken stock, cream/broth/puree soups, easy chocolate pudding
Week 4: Pork Tenderloin – salads and dressing, creme brulee
Week 5: Eggs – perfect omelettes, baked eggs, choux paste, pastry cream
Week 6: Steak and Potatoes – searing a perfect steak, Duchess potatoes, green beans with shiitakes, sticky toffee pudding

Classes run weekly starting Thursday, April 1st, 2021, 5:30pm – 7pm
How many portions will you make? That’s completely up to you! Once registration is complete, our team will send you an invitation and password to our digital, interactive class, along with an ingredient list and equipment list so you will have everything you need to whip up a professional caliber meal in the comfort of your home.

With the occasional exception, classes are approximately three hours and $75 + GST. Though refunds are not available, feel free to have some lucky soul 19+ to attend in your place.
